Brown gets treated as the safe choice. The right brown suede is harder to find than black, and it took us longer than expected to land on this one.
The cut is cropped, stopping right at the hip, and the collarless neckline leaves the neck longer. Gold buttons run down the front and climb again at the cuff, four on each sleeve. The suede is matte rather than shiny, so the texture speaks before the color does.
This is the piece that makes a plain black dress feel finished. Timeless in the real sense, not the way the word gets used to sell things.

How to Measure
Bust. Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level under the arms.
Waist. Measure around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
Hip. Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part, roughly 8 inches below the waist.
Sleeve. With the arm slightly bent, measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, down to the wrist bone.
Shoulder. Measure straight across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
Suede has almost no stretch, so a snug reading stays snug. If you sit between two sizes, take the larger one.
